Exterior cleaning

Cleaning the exterior of a house could seem daunting if, not impossible. Well, I’m here to tell you it’s not! The process is very similar to washing a car, just bigger !

Here are a few hints:

1 ) wash the house when it is wet, raining, damp and cool outside. Trying to clean the house on a hot sunny day is  hard because you are battling against the soapy solution drying mid-clean. Working in cooler weather will not tire you out as fast, either. Where we live, on Vancouver Island, you are not worrying about water restrictions, so there is plenty of water to do the job.
2)we pre-treat areas that have moss or mould with vinegar solution prior to scrubbing them down. It makes it easier to scrub these areas later.
3)we wash from the top down as you would if you are cleaning your car. We usually change the soapy-water solution on each side of your home unless it needs it sooner. Rinsing equipment is necessary too.
4)we use softer brushes on window surfaces and rinse as soon as possible to get them looking their best.
5)finally, re-wash the pre-treated areas and let your home dry.
